3D Printable Modular LED System · Backer File Access
Backers — first off, thank you so much for being here and supporting this project. It's been an incredible few months for our team, and we think you're going to absolutely love what we've built. Because the Lumanode system is completely modular and made up of so many different pieces, this page is designed to help you navigate the file delivery so you know where everything lives. It'll also confirm your Kickstarter details and give you links to every file you purchased during the campaign — including any add-ons and commercial licenses.
Below is how we recommend starting your Lumanode builds based on various experience levels! Please check the box for the one that best describes you!
Complete Beginner
You have no experience with electronics — you've never wired anything or used a microcontroller.
Start by going through the Main Instructions Document, then decide whether you're building a Linear System or a Pixel System — and whether you're going to use soldering or not. With those two decisions you'll be able to follow our pre-build configurations. We recommend building one of those first and following along with the videos.
Novice
You've worked with some electronics before, but you're not an expert.
The Lumanode system is pretty simple — we recommend building one of our standard configurations first. The system is completely modular, so once you have a standard configuration built, you can easily expand and customize from there.
Expert
You've built a bunch of electronics projects.
Go through the Main Instructions Document just so you know where all the files are and how the modular system works, and use the soldering version of the files. Then start printing and assembling! If you're making a big custom Lumanode, make sure to double-check the power requirements section of the instructions document.
